Dear friends, supporters and dialogue participants,
We are happy to announce our next dialogue, the 5th, “Bystrica Changes the World”. Its topic relates to experiencing the pandemic first-hand and the changes that you, we, the city, communities and society have gone through. It is also about the changes whose necessity we began to think about more intensely “thanks” to the trigger that was COVID-19.
Come and share your new insights with us and what you would like to change – whether it is something more personal or in the community around you, in the city, in politics at home or abroad, global challenges, or changes in society as such. We want to find out which topics resonate with us people of Bystrica. In the aftermath of the (first wave of) COVID-19, we want to create momentum and space for change, cooperation and mutually strengthening our motivation to get involved.
We are slightly changing the dialogue format for this topic: we realise it will need more than one meeting. We want to give space to every topic of change whose need comes up in this opening dialogue. So, if we all enjoy it, we would like to keep working on the theme of change, or social innovation, over several more dialogues.
The dialogue will take place in Banská Bystrica, at our usual spot on the terrace “U Francúza”, Horná Street 12, on our traditional Thursday – 9 July at 18:00. We look forward to seeing both familiar and new faces. There is a lot to look forward to. Let’s build a community of kindred spirits who want to change the world and will help each other do it…
