Participatory process for revitalising housing-estate spaces

In 2021 the City of Banská Bystrica launched the Green Neighbourhoods (green oases) project, which aims to prepare the revitalisation of seven sites with a focus on climate adaptation.

Dialogue Centre, n. o. led the participation in the project – it prepared a plan for involving the public, local leaders and experts, organised public meetings and processed the outputs.

Thanks to this process, residents could contribute directly to proposed solutions that take into account both climate challenges and the specific needs of each site.
